This program is an opportunity to celebrate those who are working behind the scene making impact in the community of the Metro East St. Louis Community (St. Clair/Madison Co.)

The Metro East St. Louis Community (St. Clair/Madison Co.) Initiative presents awards to local individuals who best exemplify excellence in their chosen professions, significant dedication as a volunteer and/or commitment to serving others.

Candidates for this award are chosen among individuals who are actively employed in the workforce/volunteer; the exception is the “Philanthropy/Volunteerism” category which requires the nominee who is actively engaged in volunteer activities. Seven to nine City of Champions Honorees are chosen each year by the Metro East Louis Community Initiative Planning Committee. The planning committee is soliciting your participation by submitting the name of someone that is deserving of being nominated for this award by completing the attached nomination form.
